REACH Regulations
In accordance with Article 20 (2) of Regulation (EC) № 1907/2006 (on registration, evaluation, authorization and restriction of chemical substances and preparations — REACH) The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) checked the completed dossier and on 30.09.2010 assigned to carbon black of Limited Liability Company «Kremenchuk Carbon Black Plant» (LLC “KCBP”) the registration number.
The special representative (Only Representative) firm CHIMET s.r.o. (Czech Republic) represents the interests of LLC “KCBP” in the European Union.
Only Representative transmits the information (MSDS) of carbon black to the customer (by the supply chain). Only Representative informs all customers in case of some changes of the information on the carbon black.
Only Representative has the responsibilities according to the requirements of REACH Regulations.

The registration dossier states that «Carbon black» is not classified as hazardous according to Council Directive 67/548/EE and its additions and changes, so it is not subject to reclassification and re-labeling (in accordance with the CLP Regulation (EC) № 1272/2008 ).
According to the requirements of the European Chemical Agency the Institute for Materials Science of Academy of Ukraine conducted research on the size of the primary particles, aggregates of carbon black, produced by LLC “KCBP”, with an electron microscope. These studies were directed to the European Chemical Agency.

Responsible person for compliance with REACH at LLC “KCBP” is the Deputy Director in Quality Sheremeta D.I. (Tel. 0536-76-14-42).
